There is no possible way to fully encapsulate the likes of Ako in words. If sanity was a black hole she threw herself over the horizon line a long time ago. She is almost always scarily happy, acting strangely joyful even in the most dire of circumstances. Things like social cues and the norms of society hold no meaning to Ako, she acts as she pleases. It seems she is unconcerned with how most people percieve her, at least nowadays.

The one thing that brings Ako the most joy is violence. Her hobby is running around causing trouble wherever told, and there's nothing she would rather do. People interupting her fun tend to get the brunt of her rage, which actually looks like her normal happy self. The only difference is that she is somehow more reckless than normal, causing harm to everyone around her including herself.

Narumi:

It is impeccably easy to get on Narumi's nerves, especially if you are someone like Ako. Since Moca has made it her life's goal to chase after Narumi's idol, Ako shall do the same. All Narumi wants is some peace and quiet, but that chainsaw isn't helping anyone but Ako.

Annabelle:

Ako is uncomfortable to witness. She's unnerving, eccentric, strange, and weird. She's threatening, clearly unwell, Annabelle is terrified of that. While Annabelle isn't Ako's main target, she's perfectly willing to take her out and steal her idol just for fun. The idea of taking out a celebrity excites Ako to no end.

Azlin:

Annoying is one way Azlin would describe Ako. Unlike Narumi and Mimi who, while they can be a lot, are bearable and have their quirks... Ako's quirks are completely deranged. The feeling's mutual though, as Ako has no time for the slow-moving carefulness of someone like Azlin.

Mimi:

They are two extremely eccentric and energetic individuals, so it is only natural they would clash at some point. Mimi thinks Ako is totally creepy, and while her makeup is divine it doesn't change the fact Ako keeps swinging her chainsaw around Mimi. Ako seems more careless than usual when Mimi gets involved.

Moca:

Ako's best friend. She is hopelessly dedicated to Moca and everything she does. Ako will go to the ends of the earth if Moca said so. Apparently they've known each other for years. Moca does not mention Ako very much, but if she had no use to Moca then she would not be kept around.

Amethyst:

Besides Moca, Amethyst is very dear to Ako. They are her partner in crime, and do whatever she says. Ako is very affectionate with her, and while Amethyst does not respond they are very happy to be there with their wishmaker.

NOTES

Ako is a very strange character.... Ok I could just leave it like that but she is a very strange character to write. Her playlist however was a no brainer. I think there's a lot of misconceptions about the kinds of songs on Ako's playlist. Many seem "scary" or "unusual" or "abrasive and violent" but ultimately have a deeper -- much more concerning -- meaning. Of course, suffering does not make one noble, and you will still see the unfortunate results of Ako's life shining through.

NOTES

  1. Average height, has a pear body shape. Stands at about 5'6 or 167 cm.
  2. Two ahoges that look like devil horns. Similarly, the end of her hair looks like a devil tail. This is very silly hair logic, so feel free to interpret it however it makes sense to you.
  3. Only wears darker clothing, it is to hide from law enforcement. While I am not super familiar with Jirai Kei as a fashion style, I think she would enjoy that as well.

TRIVIA

  • Ako was designed around 2019 with roleplay intend. While she was planned for a specific Danganronpa campaign, it didn't end up panning out. She had a wildly different design and personality, although her backstory concept remained relatively similar.
  • Ako owns a chainsaw that is her weapon of choice. She likes to call it cute petnames.
  • Journalists seem to flock Ako wherever she goes, they are her worst enemy. She has attempted to kill them.
  • Before becoming the way she was now, it was said she was related to a very famous actor in-universe. Nowadays he is dead to her, and vice versa.
  • She is shockingly affectionate with the people she likes. This only applies to Moca and Amethyst in the modern day.
  • Despite being friends with Moca, she doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, rather she enjoys savory things.
