As someone who deals with horrific insomnia, there is nothing Azlin desires more than a peaceful night's rest. They show a lot of signs of someone who doesn't sleep too often: from being less than observant of their surroundings, to being a bit more harsh than intended. While they don't mean to be rude or anything of the sort, Azlin is not one to take unruly behavior lightly.
To make up for their lack of sweet rest, Azlin takes the time to help other people fall asleep. They are a master lullaby composer, and have a voice that could put anyone to sleep. In a good way of course. Azlin is truly empathetic, and is willing to put a lot on the line just to help someone they care about. Even if sometimes it may not look like it.
Friends:
Azlin originally was just dragged alongside Annabelle, making it so them and Narumi had to spend time together. Narumi ended up really liking the guy, and admittedly they have helped a lot during their sleepelss nights. Azlin likes having someone willing to stand up for them when they're just too tired to do it themselves.
Both Azlin and Annabelle have known each other since they were kids. Annabelle found Azlin's work fascinating, and she basically attached herself to their hip. She is extremely affectionate to them, more so than anybody else. Azlin in turn feels much more awake around her, and much more at peace.
Mimi can be a bit much to deal with at times. Unlike Narumi she never seems to chill out, like ever. She talks a lot about things they don't understand, nor really want to understand. Mimi frankly pays no mind to their opinion and continues life as normal. Or as normal as Mimi's life can be.
Annoying is one way Azlin would describe Ako. Unlike Narumi and Mimi who, while they can be a lot, are bearable and have their quirks... Ako's quirks are completely deranged. The feeling's mutual though, as Ako has no time for the slow-moving carefulness of someone like Azlin.
As a creative, Azlin never truly understood why business is as popular as it is. Even before Moca flew off into the deep end, they found her ambitions confusing and uninteresting. Moca does not care. She would not mind having their idol though.
Iolite brings a sense of comfort Azlin does not usually get. The closest they have gotten to a full night's rest has been because of Iolite's calming presence. There is nothing Iolite wants more to than to have their wishmaker be happy.
