Claiming to be a cat girl from a world far far away, Mimi is nothing short of confusing and unpredictable. She's almost like a real cat, but rather than lazing about she's quite excitable. One can usually find her poking around places, skipping and dancing, and talking everyone's ear off. Mimi has a habit of ending her sentences with "meow" or making random cat puns.

Mimi is very friendly, strangely affectionate too. She has no concept of "personal space" or whatnot. Many find Mimi's behavior erratic or concerning, but she sees no trouble with the way she acts. Her perpetually happy nature has an eerie sense of falsehood surrounding it, but with the way things are going those walls will never be torn down.

Narumi:

They only talked a little bit in high school, and they've got a lot of catching up to do. Narumi thinks she's a little weird, but ultimately well-meaning. Mimi on the other hand adores Narumi's whole look, and is very attached to her. It is difficult to judge how much of it is genuine though.

Annabelle:

Unlike Narumi and Azlin who are somewhat concerned about Mimi's recent shift in behavior, Annabelle doesn't seem as miffed. In fact, if Mimi wants to express herself in this way, then why not let her? She fails to see any sort of problem. Mimi doesn't really talk to Annabelle much, but absolutely adores her dedication.

Azlin:

Mimi can be a bit much to deal with at times. Unlike Narumi she never seems to chill out, like ever. She talks a lot about things they don't understand, nor really want to understand. Mimi frankly pays no mind to their opinion and continues life as normal. Or as normal as Mimi's life can be.

Ako:

They are two extremely eccentric and energetic individuals, so it is only natural they would clash at some point. Mimi thinks Ako is totally creepy, and while her makeup is divine it doesn't change the fact Ako keeps swinging her chainsaw around Mimi. Ako seems more careless than usual when Mimi gets involved.

Moca:

Mimi is utterly terrified of Moca. She doesn't know why Moca has taken such an interest in her and her friends, but really wants Moca to leave them alone. Moca does not care for Mimi at all, especially since she is not a wishmaker. However, Mimi is a piece in a much grander puzzle.

NOTES

Mimi has a shockingly easy playlist for me. Put some songs about cats, and fame, and sometimes when people use cats as metaphors it falls perfectly in line with whatever Mimi is doing. Since she's very chronically online, I try to keep tabs on songs that might fall under that umbrella for Mimi. Every so often in the cat-groove you might end up with a cat-frown thanks to some... surprise guests that show up. Maybe there is more beneath the surface, but you could probably tell that could you?

NOTES

  1. Average height, and is somewhere in the middle of the road body type wise. Not overly skinny nor fat. Stands at about 5'4 or 162 cm.
  2. Fake fangs, always has her ears, tail, and paws on.
  3. Usually her hair is tied up in pigtails.
  4. She wears anything casual, but it will usually have cats, paws, or something of the sort on it.
  5. Don't worry about the other one...

TRIVIA

  • Mimi's origins date back to 2018 as a character used for Danganronpa roleplays. I used her for a few, and was a favorite of mine. I had attempted to bring her back a few times but couldn't get her story to stick. To this day she remains relatively unchanged in terms of design, but her backstory changed A LOT.
  • Like real cats, Mimi is very uncomfortable around large bodies of water. She seems to have the capacity to swim though.
  • She almost exclusively eats meat and fish, openly despising vegetables. It's rare to see her eat things like sweets, bread, or fruits.
  • While it is rare to see Mimi engage in any kind of hobby, she is said to be quite good at sewing. Hard to tell, since she never takes off the gloves.
  • According to Mimi, her planet is full of people just like her. They are masters of survival. She came to Earth for a "real challenge" or something like that.
  • With that being said, Mimi isn't very athletic. That doesn't mean she won't try. It just means she'll complain before, during, and after making an attempt.
