It's hard to imagine so much rage stored in one person, but that's Narumi for you. She's quick to anger, going from zero to one hundred in mere seconds. Nobody is safe from her, not the talkative nor quiet. She has a tendency to be rather vulgar as well. With that said, Narumi is all bark and zero bite. A sore loser to her core, losing battles are stubbornly fought with her eventually kicking rocks and storming away.

Despite all of that, Narumi on her own is shockingly quite calm. She doesn't seek to get angry or find any joy in complaining, just a lot of things set her off. While her attempts at being level-headed usually fail, they are attempts nonetheless. Narumi is usually found around people much calmer than her, providing a sense of ease that you don't get with her alone. She seems self aware of her more brash traits.

Relationships:

Annabelle:

They may have opposite aesthetics, but these two are sworn sisters. Annabelle thinks Narumi's whole thing is really cool, and she loves that Narumi is willing to pursue what she loves and not listen to anyone else. Narumi on the other hand likes someone who can keep her grounded, and not flying off the handle.

Azlin:

Azlin originally was just dragged alongside Annabelle, making it so them and Narumi had to spend time together. Narumi ended up really liking the guy, and admittedly they have helped a lot during their sleepelss nights. Azlin likes having someone willing to stand up for them when they're just too tired to do it themselves.

Mimi:

They only talked a little bit in high school, and they've got a lot of catching up to do. Narumi thinks she's a little weird, but ultimately well-meaning. Mimi on the other hand adores Narumi's whole look, and is very attached to her. It is difficult to judge how much of it is genuine though.

Name:

It is impeccably easy to get on Narumi's nerves, especially if you are someone like Ako. Since Moca has made it her life's goal to chase after Narumi's idol, Ako shall do the same. All Narumi wants is some peace and quiet, but that chainsaw isn't helping anyone but Ako.

Moca:

Moca has a deep fascination with Narumi's idol, one who has forgotten their original purpose. She will stop at nothing until Thorne is her's and her's alone. On the other hand, Narumi thinks Moca is completely insane. Especially after the whole kidnapping thing.

Thorne:

Narumi wishes she could say she likes Thorne as much as the others like their idols. Thorne remains a reminder of what Narumi has forgotten. Until she finally remembers why this guy exists, they have an amicable, albeit somewhat strained relationship.

NOTES

The two words I'd use to describe Narumi's taste are Angsty and Angry. Pretty much everything here falls into either one or both of those categories. At her core: Narumi is a poet, so I wanted to reflect that with her song choices. Songs with lyrics that encourage you to read them after the fact, songs with lyrics that try to reach deep in the core of who you are. How that may look will be different to anyone, but this is how it looks for Narumi. And don't forget the personal introspection!

  1. Relatively short, and a bit bulky. Stands at around 5'0 or 152 cm.
  2. She has hair covering her ears, it just looks a bit odd on the reference.
  3. Has fangs, that are fake, but she still has them.
  4. Narumi prefers darker "edgier" clothing. Her current outfit was vaguely grunge-inspired.

TRIVIA

  • Narumi's origin dates back to 2018, when I was creating character for Danganronpa roleplays. I used her for my very first online roleplay, actually. I've always had a soft spot for her, so I was eager to finally have an opporunity to do something with her. She was originally inspired by Ako Udagawa from Bandori, which I was a huge fan of at the time.
  • She has a pineapple allergy but is not yet aware of it. She just thinks she's picky.
  • Dogs are somewhat of a fear for her, especially large ones. She got knocked into the ground by one a long time ago.
  • She has a very large family that she only rarely talks to.
  • Bedtime stories help her sleep immensely, although she prefers audiobooks rather than being told stuff directly.
