Criminals, just like real life, are all too common in the IRC. The top rated most wanted villain happens to belong to one only known as "The Face Stealer" or just Stealer for short. Known for being cunning, mysterious, and difficult to find, Stealer makes a habit out of stealing the faces of poor unsuspecting individuals. His origins and motivations are unknown, but he is greatly feared.

Little is known about how Stealer acts. After all, he IS a runaway criminal. But he is known for being surprisingly social and talkative, although incredibly obsessed with his appearance. Stealer also gets jealous and envious extremely quickly, which fuels his seemingly loud anger.

He works on his own internal logic, sometimes making him appear noble... and other times making him act irrational. He can be overly cocky, but knows exactly how to make someone hurt if he feels like it.

With the rumors circulating around him working with Cozimo, it's hard to tell how he really feels about it all. Most askers just get their face taken. He doesn't deny the connection.

Min Ji:

Doesn't know about her at all. He's always up for a good fight though, especially if one's facial features are on the line.

Archibald:

He has a strong vendetta against all the trainmasters, but Archibald is his least favorite. Apparently they've met each other at one point, and things did not go well. Stealer thinks he's far too self righteous to ever be a good leader.

NOTES

Stealer is meant to be villainous, and weird. So picked songs that fell into those categories. Most of Stealer's playlist reminds me of what I was introduced to in the early 2020's so you will see some of that. I intend for Stealer's playlist to be read as an introductory letter-- to let you know about his vanity, his jealousy, his flaws and sins all the same. Maybe you will find some beauty in there somewhere, or at least grow to respect his confidence.

NOTES

  1. Literally a shadow beast thing. Lines are placed for artistic purposes, and are not normally visual.
  2. He is usually hunched over, so his full height cannot be realized. Even then, he can just alter his height.
  3. Can change his facial features (eyes, nose, and mouth) at will. In story, he mostly keeps the usual ones. His hat has one eye and one mouth, but there's definitely more present elsewhere...
  4. When in the shadows, he can replace other people's shadows with his own.
  5. Big claws aren't an artistic choice, he just has those.

TRIVIA

  • While he can have a physical form, Stealer much prefers to live in the shadows. That's where he stays when it's bright out. He can only navigate physically in the dark.
  • Stealer has many rumors circulating about why he steals faces. Some say it's because he lost his old one, others say he's just like that.
  • His hobbies typically include admiring himself, collecting facial features, and annoying those near him. As you can see, he is not a very productive individual.
